Senior Civil Engineer
Overview
Resource Controls is seeking a
Senior Civil Engineer for a key leadership position within the
company. This individual, who will report directly to the Owner,
will have the opportunity to grow an engineering group and
provide full oversight and management. The successful candidate
will possess a combination of technical engineering skills,
business development acumen, and the ability to lead and develop
staff.
Credentials Required Include:
BS in Civil Engineering; Masters degree is a plus;
Registered Professional Engineer in MA and RI, with ability
to readily obtain in other states;
Prefer RI Class III ISDS Designer & Class IV Soil Evaluator
Licenses;An entrepreneurial spirit
necessary to grow and develop an engineering group;10
years experience in diverse civil engineering work including: -
Roads and sidewalks
- Storm water and drainage
- Utility
work
- Water and sewer
- Land development, including zoning,
wetlands and site plan approval
- Interest in growing the
Engineering Services Group to include services beyond civil
engineering;
and- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, AutoCAD
Civil 3D, as well as storm water management tools.
Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer
Overview
Resource Controls is seeking an Environmental
Professional for our Pawtucket, RI office with 3 to 5 years of
experience and goals for advancement and exposure to a diverse
work experience in the environmental industry. Candidate should
possess at a minimum a B.S. in environmental science,
hydrogeology, geology, engineering or related earth science.
Responsibilities Include:
Detailed knowledge of RIDEM and MassDEP regulations;
Demonstrated experience authoring MCP and RIDEM Site Remediation
and UST documents;Environmental data management and
analysis;Completion of property transaction assessments
under ASTM guidance;
Field work, including environmental sampling and drilling
oversight duties;
Soil/groundwater investigations; andProject and task
management.
Requirements
Candidate should be proficient in MS Office Software
(Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with ESRI's ArcGIS 9.x
ArcView, AutoCAD, Microsoft Access and GPS hardware a plus. Excellent writing and communication skills and an ability to perform tasks on multiple projects are required.
GIS Analyst/Environmental Scientist
Overview
Resource Controls is seeking a GIS Analyst/Environmental Scientist for our Pawtucket, RI office with 0 to 3 years of experience and goals for advancement and exposure to a diverse work experience in the environmental industry. Candidate should possess a B.S. in environmental science, geography, hydrogeology,
geology, engineering or related science and have experience with GIS analysis and interpretation.
Responsibilities Include:
Working with other scientists and engineers to provide GIS services on a variety of environmental and engineering projects;
Creation of cartographic products in both digital and paper form;
GPS data collection;
Data management and analysis, regulatory interpretation and reporting;
Property transaction assessments;
Field work, including environmental sampling and field oversight duties;
and
Soil/groundwater investigations.
Requirements

Environmental Field Technician
Overview
Resource Controls is seeking an Environmental
Field Technician for our Pawtucket, RI office. Candidate should
possess a minimum of a high school diploma and strong electrical
and mechanical skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Soil and groundwater sample collection;Construction
oversight and contractor supervision;
Site surveying;
Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair; and
Data collection and recording in detailed field notes and
sketches.
Requirements
Position requires travel throughout eastern
Massachusetts and Rhode Island and year-round outdoor work.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are required,
along with a strong work ethic and self-motivation. 40 hr OSHA
certified, a plus.
